Denis leads a global team of Offering/Product Managers, Development, Security Researchers and Technologists that deliver the IBM suite of Security Products/Services.

Some of his primary responsibilities include:

• Ensuring customer investments in IBM products/services are realized and delivered on a continuous basis
• Continuous Innovation and break thru thinking happens and is delivered at speed through IBM products and services.
• IBM is a thought leader and trusted advisor when it comes to the Cyber Threat.

Denis joined IBM through the acquisition of Vallent Technologies in February 2007. With the formation of the IBM Security unit in 2012, Denis joined the new unit to lead up Product Development. Since then he has lead a major transformation of the IBM Security product portfolio while also integrating a number of strategic acquisitions that have broadened the IBM Security capabilities in the market.

Tom Kellermann is responsible for building Core's relationships with key industry and government partners, and helping further the acceptance of auditing security defenses to reduce organizations' operational risk. Additionally, Kellermann represents Core at US, international and industry security working groups, helping these organizations promote improved security practices and policies.

Tom Kellermann formerly held the position of Senior Data Risk Management Specialist the World Bank Treasury Security Team. Tom was responsible for Cyber-intelligence and policy management within the World Bank Treasury. Tom regularly advised central banks around the world per their cyber-risk posture and layered security architectures. Along with Thomas Glaessner and Valerie McNevin, he co-authored the book E-safety and Soundness: Securing Finance in a New Age and the White Paper, E-security: Risk Mitigation in Financial Transactions. Tom is also the author of numerous World Bank white papers on cyber security: Mobile Risk Management, The Digital Insider, Phishing in Digital Streams, Bots: Cyber Parasites, Zero Day, and Money Laundering in Cyberspace.

Tom is a Commissioner on The Commission on Cyber Security for the 44th Presidency. Tom also serves as a member of the Financial Coalition Against Child Pornography, the IP Governance Task Force, The National Consumer League’s Anti-Phishing Working Group, The New York Chapter of Infragard, the IPv6 Forum and is an active member of the American Bar Association’s working group on Cyber-crime. Tom is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

Rik Ferguson, Vice President of Security Research at Trend Micro, is a Special Advisor to Europol EC3, project leader with the International Cyber Security Prevention Alliance (ICSPA), Vice Chair of the Centre for Strategic Cyberspace & Security Science and advisor to various UK government technology forums. In April 2011 Rik was inducted into the Infosecurity Hall of Fame

As a presenter at global industry events such as RSA, Mobile World Congress, InfoSecurity, Virus Bulletin, RUSI and the e-Crime Congress, Rik addresses the challenges posed by emerging technology and online crime. He is frequently interviewed by the BBC, CNN, CNBC, Channel 4, Sky News and Al-Jazeera English and is quoted by national newspapers and trade publications throughout the world.

Rik writes the Countermeasures blog and is the lead spokesperson for Trend Micro, he also writes regular columns for CIO, ZDNet, T3 and several other European publications. In this position, Rik is actively engaged in research into online threats and the underground economy. He also researches the wider implications of new developments in the Information Technology arena and their impact on security both for consumers and in the enterprise.

Dave Allen is vice president of western Europe for Palo Alto Networks. In this role he is responsible for planning business strategy and overseeing its delivery to ensure outstanding sales performance and customer satisfaction across the UK, Ireland, South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa.

Dave joined Palo Alto Networks in February 2016 from NetApp, where he was vice president and general manager for Northern Europe. His twenty years in industry has included time in in roles ranging from subsea robotics engineer, sysadmin and technologist and evangelist, to operations and consulting, into sales and business leadership across multiple countries.

Dave holds a Masters in Microelectronics from the University of Edinburgh, and enjoys weight training, winter sports and has a keen interest in the latest gadgets.

Richard has worked for over 20 years in various senior technology management roles from software engineer through to CIO. Richard was involved in deploying the first Card Not Present currency exchange solution (DCC) in the European Card Payment market in 2005, and was CIO of the first Irish software company to achieve the Business Continuity Management Certification ISO22301 in 2012.

More recently Richard has been working as CIO for a software solution provider serving the largest US mortgage servicer, and is now spending his time managing IT risk and information security for a financial services multi-national.

Richard has been involved in ensuring all companies he works with attain and retain industry certification such as ISO27001, ISO22301, PCI DSS, and ITIL certifications. Bryan McCarthy leads Ronan Daly Jermyn’s Cyber and Data Protection Group, representing companies on a broad range of data management issues, including cyber and data security, notification of breaches, data subject access requests, data transfers outside the EEA, employee data, due diligence in sales of corporate assets and compliance training.

An accomplished IT leader, anchoring IT as a core driver of business expansion, I specialise in building effective structure and aligning organisations towards the achievement of clear business goals and objectives. Enda Kyne is a Senior Executive with significant experience in IT consulting, management consulting, IT management, business leadership and business change.  With a career to date spanning over 30 years, Enda has worked in large structured corporate environments and also in rapidly growing start-up organisations.  He joined FBD Insurance plc as Chief Technology and Operations Office in January 2017, having previously worked with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Pathfinder, Bank of Ireland, Vision Consulting and Cap Gemini in a number of senior roles. He was also appointed to the e-Health Ireland Committee by the HSE Directorate in 2015. Enda holds a BSc in Information Technology from Dublin City University.

Ian is the Director of IT for Laya Healthcare, Irelands second largest provider of private medical insurance.

Ian leads a team of software development, test, project management and systems professionals that delivery all of Laya's IT services.

Ian is a member of the Laya Healthcare executive team and ensures that Laya's IT capabilities are closely aligned to the business at all times.

Ian ensures that all of Laya's IT systems and development meet the needs of memebers, recent innovations have included the care on call app, claims app, members area and significant improvement to the online sales tools.

Ian joined Laya Healthcare after 15 years with Bon Secours Health System as director of IT, and 15 years prior to that as an Executive Officer in the Irish Naval Service where he spent much of his time at sea in a variety of roles.

Kurt has spent more than twelve years of his career in the FBI’s Counterintelligence and Cyber Divisions working cases that protected national security. His primary focus has been state-sponsored Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) intrusions cases that included cross-jurisdictional cooperation at all levels of government. From 2010-2012, Kurt was assigned to FBI Headquarters as a Supervisory Special Agent in the Cyber Division, he coordinated and led multiple teams that were investigating and mitigating various APT threats. He received the FBI Director's Award for Excellence and the U.S. Attorney General's Award for Distinguished Service for the groundbreaking case against the five 3PLA hackers charged with economic espionage in 2014. He is currently the Assistant Legal Attaché for the FBI in London, where he represents the FBI on cyber matters.

Mary O'Brien is Vice President of Engineering, IBM Security. She leads a global team of research and development professionals delivering the IBM Security Product portfolio. Mary has 30 years of industry experience developed through tenures in the Uk, US and Ireland. Currently based in Ireland, Mary earned her BEng degree from Dublin City University.

Gary is AIB’s Head of Cyber Security Transformation where he leads the effort to develop the capabilities to address the Cyber Security challenges of tomorrow. Gary has nearly 20 years of Information Security experience having held senior positions within banks and financial institutions in Ireland, the UK and Australia. Gary joined AIB from Commonwealth Bank in 2015. His current areas of focus are strategic security. threat management and the development of business focused information security practices. In addition to his information security roles Gary has also spent time in academia as professor finance at IE Business school, Madrid.

Successful results driven IT executive with over 15 years of experience in enterprise-level technology solutions and management.

Holding an extensive background in enterprise level IT transformation activities having built solution centres from the ground up in order to support multi-billion dollar companies.

I am currently employed as the global director of business intelligence for Tyco and am tasked with transforming the company into a data driven enterprise leveraging best in class IT solutions.

Prior to my current role in Tyco I enjoyed a 13 year career with Flextronics. During my time there I wore many hats, I lead the IT operations group spanning 15 of Flextronics EMEA sites, initiated and directed a BI enablement team focussed on delivering business insight to the EMEA region, lead the EMEA IT Implementations group, managed large scale global deployments, IT account manager for some of their largest customers, lead architect of the cloud strategy team, developed as a functional logistics and enterprise planning consultant and at the beginning I worked within local IT as a network administrator.

Trend Micro, a global leader in IT security, appointed Dervla Mannion as its Vice President of European Operations Centre in early 2013. Having joined the security firm in 2003, she rose through the ranks as one of its leading managers from its London base, and later transitioned to the Japanese company’s European HQ in Cork.

A graduate of Dublin City University and University of Dortmund (Germany), Dervla has held a variety of tech leadership roles spanning sales, marketing and operations functions, both in Ireland and abroad (Germany, The Netherlands and UK). Prior to this, Dervla operated in mergers and acquisitions with a particular focus on emerging growth markets. Dervla is a member of the Digital Sales Council in Ireland – a council formed in 2015 of executive sales leaders, providing thought leadership and governance around the vibrant EMEA Inside Sales sector.

She is also an active member of Cork’s booming tech sector, where she remains a board member of the IT@Cork European Technology Cluster, a non-profit independent business organisation representing the interests of the IT industry in Ireland.

In 2015, Dervla Mannion was nominated one of Irelands Top 20 influencers in the global tech industry.

Niamh is DocuSigns EU Information Security Director. She joined DocuSign with 15 years’ experience in the Information Security profession. The first 12 years of her career were spent working on Information Security teams for an Irish Financial Institution (AIB), she then progressed her career to manage the security strategy program portfolio for an Irish online eGaming company (Paddy Power). In 2014 she took her career global and set-up the EMEA Privacy and Compliance team for a cloud application provider (Workday) embedding privacy and compliance into the European headquarters here in Dublin.

She describes herself as “Born to Protect” as she protected the goals in her football sporting life and continues to protect data in her professional life. Niamh qualified as the youngest female in Ireland to obtain the Information Security CISSP qualification back in 2004. In her spare time she likes to give back to the Information Security industry by lecturing at National College Ireland, sitting on Global (ISC)2 Scholarship review panels and mentoring those new to the Information Security Profession. Niamh is based out of DocuSign EMEA headquarters in Dublin.

Dr. Gladyshev is an internationally recognized expert in the field of digital forensics and cybercrime investigation. He holds a PhD in Computer Science with specialization in Digital Forensics, and his academic research focuses on the development of automated reasoning algorithms for analysis of digital evidence.

Dr. Gladyshev has been working with the Law Enforcement since 1998 when he designed the first cybercrime training course for An Garda Siochana. He joined University College Dublin as a lecturer in 2005 and directed the development of UCD’s MSc in Forensic Computing and Cybercrime Investigation that became an international success story with over 150 law enforcement students enrolled annually. Dr. Gladyshev founded Digital Forensics Investigation Research Laboratory (DigitalFIRE) in 2007 and established UCD’s MSc programme in Digital Investigation and Forensic Computing for the private sector in 2009.

In his extra curricular capacity Dr. Gladyshev serves as an invited expert to INTERPOL Global Cybercrime Expert Group and works part-time as a director consultant in the digital forensics division of Grant Thornton Ireland. He also serves as a cybercrime department editor for the IEEE Security and Privacy Magazine and participates as editorial board member in the production of several academic journals in the field of digital forensics and cybercrime investigation. In 2014, Dr. Gladyshev was elected to the board of directors of DFRWS.org a US not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of digital forensics education worldwide, and he is chairing the technical programme committee of DFRWS EU 2017 conference that will take place in Germany in March 21-23 of next year.

Paul is an experienced information security, risk and compliance professional currently working for Glen Dimplex, the world's largest manufacturer of electrical heating, and also holds significant global market positions in domestic appliances, cooling, ventilation, and renewable energy solutions.

Jamie Cowper is the Director of EMEA Marketing for Resilient, an IBM Company. He has previously served as the Senior Director of Business Development and Marketing at Nok Nok Labs.

Prior to this, he was Director of European Marketing at Veracode and PGP Corporation, as well as business development and product marketing roles at Symantec, Mirapoint and Critical Path. Jamie has significant industry expertise across a wide range of Information Security areas, including Authentication, Encryption, Email and Application Security.

He has spoken at a large number of industry events across Europe and Asia, including RSA, Gartner and Forrester conferences and contributed articles to many leading IT publications.

Alan Jenkins is a charismatic and effective leader, with strong technical expertise across all security disciplines but particularly cyber, accrued over 25+ years as a practitioner. He possesses broad experience in both private & public sectors and has a track record of devising and implementing strategic change programmes within the security, privacy & risk functions to deliver business benefit at optimum cost that is fit-for-purpose. He is a passionate supporter of Security Convergence and has served on ASIS Europe's related sub-committee for the past 3 years. He joined IBM in November 2015 as an Associate Partner focused on the Financial Services Sector.

Shirley Finnerty is the Business Group Lead for Windows and Devices in Microsoft Ireland. With over 20 years specialising in Devices with Mobile Operators and Microsoft, she has experienced the evolution of the workplace extending beyond the office in support of employees working productively from multiple locations. One of the challenge of a mobile workforce is to ensure users identities, data and devices are protected. Shirley will discuss Security and how it relates to supporting mobility in Organisations.

Mark would consider himself to be 50% Software Technologist and 50% Economist which makes him a 100% Xanadu CEO. Mark has been involved in the online gaming sector since early 2003 where he has been at the forefront of cutting edge technology and at the sharp end of the online gaming sector. Mark has extensive knowledge of sports betting and trading technologies.
