Tony Sales

Tony Sales

Strategic Development Director, We Fight Fraud Limited

Tony Sales is probably only one of a few to have ever worked at both the summit of organised crime and the pinnacle of fraud and loss prevention. Dubbed “Britain’s Greatest Fraudster” by the British media, clearly anyone with such a unique skill set is intrinsically valuable to almost any major organisation. Tony now provides advice to some of the world’s leading brands on their fraud and loss prevention strategies.

The key thing about Tony and the work that We Fight Fraud undertakes is that it’s not just theoretical or academic. They are engaged by multi-sector organisations, given no special treatment or information, but then have the knack of breaking through the control environment pretty much undetected – an invaluable insight for companies of all shapes and sizes to see things through the eyes of a criminal.

In today’s world, Tony’s objectives are clear, it’s all about fraud prevention and opening people’s eyes to what at first, they don’t see. Don’t for one minute believe it’s all about the digital world. Human behaviour is notoriously the weakest link – whilst your address maybe public, your door key is private, or is it?
